The Commander RO eliminates unnecessary data entry and the problem of messy handwritten repair orders. With minimal effort, you can print estimates and write repair orders containing all the pertinent information about that customer and unit being serviced.
You can also take advantage of available electronic microfiche to help complete the repairs. Commander interfaces to popular electronic microfiche programs, too! This allows you to create a pick list and transfer it directly onto a repair order, making it possible to create an R.O. without ever having to type a part number!
When items need to be special ordered for a repair, you can create purchase orders with just a few clicks of your mouse. That’s because every part number you could potentially use for a repair, is already stored in your system. When you “post” a repair order, all the required parts not currently in stock for that job are moved to the “P.O. Pad” for ordering at the end of the day.
Commander Software gives you the controls you need to effectively manage your service department. Access to information about customers, units and parts, allows your service techs to work faster and focus their attention back to service and repair.

Web-based price updates keep all your parts price current. The Cross Reference feature provides other items that will work with comparative pricing. Finally, the Warehouse Locator will tell you which vendor facility stocks the items and shows availability.

Parts prices are always changing! For example, one aftermarket vendor, Parts Unlimited, alone has 132,002 part numbers in their catalog. What if you sell parts from Parts Unlimited, Tucker Rocky, Western Powersports, Lockhart Phillips, Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Polaris, Bombardier and KTM (to name a few)? We’re talking about 1.5 million part numbers (1,469,642 to be exact). These are part numbers and prices that are changing continually. If you ignore these changes, you’re going to be selling parts at prices that are too low. This is a BIG profit leak!
It IS possible to price parts one at a time by going to the vendor’s web site or thumbing through their parts directory. But who is going to get the assignment? Will it be you (the owner), or the parts manager, or maybe the service manager or the bookkeeper or a counter person, perhaps? Who in your shop has time to keep this huge quantity of part numbers updated?

Service Scheduler
Use the service scheduler by first selecting year/make/model. Then choose mile or months interval. The scheduler will created a list of all services due now including skipped services that should have been done, but were not. The list can be printed, discussed with the customer and the service work to be done today can easily be decided upon. Declined services can also be printed for the customer to sign off.
